Ocean Day 2022
Today is World Ocean Day and this year the focus is on safeguarding the ocean, biodiversity, and building toward climate change resiliency. This important task is not easy to solve, and it requires everyone to do their part. While the work the people behind World Ocean DAY do is exceptional, and you can read more about their mission on their webpage, we will take the opportunity to talk about what we do for our part. Our Ocean Plast line-up is made from rope used in the fishing industry, which is collected from harbours. We use the recycled plastic to make chairs, lounge furniture, and more. It makes for very fashionable and sturdy products, which we are both happy and proud to feature.
