We are celebrating Susan’s 20th anniversary.

Susan Christensen celebrated her 20th anniversary at Schou last Friday – an impressive performance.

According to herself, the best thing about working for Schou is the team spirit: “I have been surrounded by some cool, fun, and fantastic colleagues on my journey through Schou. It sounds like a cliché, but spending so many hours and days together, means that you build a close relationship with your colleagues, which will strengthen the job satisfaction and the affiliation with Schou for many years.”

Susan started as a trainee in purchasing. Even back then, cooperation with the suppliers from the Far East was very important to her and she participated in trade fairs in China. She has been a great asset and instrumental in building that department based around a culture of good relations and strong business acumen.

Susan is a great example of the many possibilities Schou offers. For a time, she worked as Chief Representative in our office in China but came back to the main office as manager for HR. Today she is still in HR, a department she has largely built from scratch, and is now our “Chief Human Resource Officer”.

According to Susan, it is the fact that her managers have believed in her and seen potential in her, which has meant her staying on for as long as she has. Her journey through Schou has been very impressive and is something she can look back on, while ambitiously looking to new heights.
