Bamboo is a sustainable
natural material and as such a
great substitute for wood and plastic.
Bamboo grass can grow by up to one metre a day, while also absorbing CO² and producing more oxygen than trees,
which has a positive effect on CO² emissions. That's why
we are making targeted efforts to replace plastic with
bamboo in products, wherever this is possible.
Bamboo is one of nature’s wonders, not only because it absorbs CO² and releases oxygen, but also because it is a very hard-wearing material that is more durable than certain other types of wood.
Bamboo also requires very little help to grow, and is easy to transport and machine. Bamboo has therefore become a popular choice when it comes to selecting a material in a wide range of contexts, from construction to textiles.
