A sustainable “Christmas tree”

Et bæredygtigt

This Christmas tree has a long story, longer than most plastics have, and we would like to share it with you all.

Our ocean suffers from plastic, it endangers wildlife, the ecosystem, and of course people. That is why we decided to do our part to reuse fishing nets and ropes from harbours around Europe.

When collected, it is taken to a Danish factory, that specializes in regranulating plastics. It is then sent on to other production facilities and reshaped into new designs: Lounge furniture, lovely shell chairs, and of course our amazingly useful folding boxes are merely a fraction of the potential. Thus, Ocean Plast is born.

And that is how we end up with a Christmas tree of boxes, not by saving the environment, because no one can do that on their own, but by trying to do our part. We can save sea life from getting trapped in discarded nets, help the ecosystem, and in the end ourselves.

Merry Christmas to everyone.
